Experts arrive for Arabian Racing Conference in The Hague

Some of the world’s top breeders, owners and officials of Purebred Arabian racing horses have arrived in The Hague in The Netherlands for the second edition of the World Arabian Horse Racing Conference which starts tomorrow.

The three-day conference is part of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Racing Festival and will be followed by a top class race meeting at the Duindigt race course on June 19.

Arabian Racing Conference kicks off in The Hague

It was another milestone reached as the Second World Arabian Racing Conference organized by the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival was inaugurated on Thursday at the Hilton Hotel here by H.E Ali Thani Al Suwaidi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to The Netherlands.

“I hope the Conference will go a long way in improving Purebred Arabian racing here in The Netherlands and all over Europe. Women’s day out at Arabian Racing Conference

After a hard day’s deliberations on the opening day, delegates of Second World Arabian Racing Conference attended and enjoyed a welcome party at the Duivenvoorde Castle. And on Friday morning they were back and for the first time in the history of Arabian racing an all-women panel decked the dais to highlight the role of ‘Women in Arabian Racing’.

The curtain came down on the second edition of the World Arabian Horse Racing Conference, organized as part of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival with a lively closing ceremony and gala dinner.
 H.E Ali Thani Al Suwaidi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to The Netherlands welcomed the gathering and wished the race meeting a huge success.

Poulain Kossack wins HH Sheikh Zayed Cup

Five-year-old Poulain Kossack under Jadey Peitrasiewicz won the prestigious HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (Listed) Cup while the pair of UAE lady jockeys impressed in their debut in the HH Shaikha Fatma Bint Mubarak Ladies Fegentri Cup which was won by Britain’s Rachel King.
