UK’s Deniel wins HH Sheikha Fatima race in Bucharest Alyson Deniel from the United Kingdom rode Nordika to a classy win in the Romanian leg of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship race held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Hippodrome Ploiesti near Bucharest. The 48-year-old Deniel who won on Conderosa Millenium Silver in the second race of the 2014 HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak World Ladies Championship series at the Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne, once again won on Saturday here.

Progress of women in UAE sport hailed at WAHRF The highlight of the second day at the World Arabian Horse Racing Forum was the session on Ladies in Racing. All speakers agreed on the great role played by the Festival in the empowerment of women in races, with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, the mother of the UAE.
