Visitors throng Sheikh Mansoor pavilion at ADIHEX

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival pavilion continued to attract huge number of visitors on Thursday, the third day of the event, at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition. The unique design of the Festival pavilion was one of the main attractions for the eager visitors. Also on the tour of the pavilion were several sheikhs, officials, educationists and equestrian enthusiasts. The 16th edition of the five-day exhibition opened in the capital city of Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, ADNEC, will conclude on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Ms. Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, Chairperson of the International Federation of Horse Racing Academies (IFHRA) and Chairperson of Ladies & Apprentice Racing Committees in the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR) quoted: “The HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival had unusual footfalls this year. All our sponsors and supporting partners have made their presence felt with each one of them showcasing their activities in their individual kiosks. It is attracting young and old alike helping them gain an in-depth knowledge into the activities of not only the Festival but also the Purebred Arabian horses.”

The HH Sheikh Mansoor Festival is celebrating its tenth year which also coincides with sheikh Zayed’s 100th year. It has occupied a sprawling 3,600 square meters area.

The presence of the Festival at the exhibition is part of the of ‘One World, 6 Continents, Abu Dhabi The Capital’ annual programme with focus on Purebred Arabian horse racing.

ADIHEX is organized under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Ai Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers Club and supported by The Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD), International Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC), The Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) and The Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee. ADIHEX is a government initiative that aims primarily to promote Sustainable Hunting, Environmental and Cultural heritage.

The third day again was a huge attraction for the ADIHEX visitors who patiently waiedt for the raffle, with prizes ranging from high-end futuristic cameras, watches, jewellery and cash vouchers.
