Germany’s Arnold scores yet another win in a HH Sheikh Mansoor Festival ride

Germany’s Sabrina Arnold continued her winning ways in the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival-supported endurance rides in Europe.

After winning two Festival rides in Belgium last year, Arnold once again hogged the limelight with a classy win in the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s ‘In the Year of Zayed’ series 120-km ride in Fontainebleau in Paris, France on Saturday, March 31.

The 120-km FEI ride was held on the second day of the two-day event under the umbrella of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s ‘In the Year of Zayed’ series.

Sabrina Arnold , riding Bolt de Venelles, finished ahead French rider Laetitia Pegaz Tocquet on Azur du Colombier while in third place was Bahrain’s Mohammed Hilal Al Khatri on Tarik Daragon.

“The Festival’s rides seem to be really good for me. This is the fourth big win in a Festival supported ride in the last three years,” said Arnold after yet another fine display of skill and technique.

Adnan Sultan Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, gave away the trophies and said the six rides over the last two days in celebration of 100 years of Zayed was a huge success.

The HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival is sustained by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority and coordinated by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, with National Feed and Flour Production and Marketing Co.
