Two endurance rides under HH Sheikh Mansoor Festival’s banner on Feb 24 & Feb 25

Cars will be up for grabs for the top finishers in the HH Sheikha Fatma Bint Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan 100km Endurance Ladies Cup at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba on February 24 and the 100km HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Endurance Race For Private Stables at the same venue on February 25 under the sponsorship of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival.

The details of the two events were revealed by Ms. Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, Chairperson of the International Federation of Horse Racing Academies (IFHRA) and Chairperson of Ladies & Apprentice Racing Committees in the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR) during a news conference at the Eastern Mangroves Hotel (Anantara).  

The Press conference was attended by Adnan Sultan Al Nuaimi-Director General of Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, Mubarak Al Nuaimi representing TCA Abu Dhabi, Nadeem Lahad of Emirates airline, Najla Nasser from The National Feed and Flour Production Company, Ahmed Saeed from Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, Humayon Alam of Al Masoud Automobiles and Stefano Daneri from Global Veterinary Services.

“The top four finishers in each of the two rides will be invited to attend one of the four international endurance races to be held later in the year in Europe,” Ms. Sawaya said.

The races are held under the directives of HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and the support of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Mother of the UAE, Chairperson of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and Mother of the World.

“We also would like to announce that the ‘HH Sheikha Fatma Arts Land and HH Sheikh Mohammed Extreme Land’ will be the added attractions alongside the two endurance rides. These will be open for children and families and they will receive presents and gifts.”

“There are ten valuable gifts including gold items allocated for the girls from 3 to 10 years old and another ten gifts for the boys from 3 to 10 years old besides the draws to delight the children and their families. The total value of the gifts and prizes is Dh 500.000,” said Ms. Sawaya.

“All families are invited to enjoy the special entertainment programs. Children from France will arrive on Thursday to be part of the events.
