Ajman Ruler, cabinet minister praise HH Sheikh Mansoor stand at ADIHEX

His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ajman, was one of the sheikhs who visited the stand of ‘One World, 6 Continents, Abu Dhabi The Capital, at the ongoing 15th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. The stand was part of the His Highness Sheikh Mansoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, which is primarily sponsoring the exhibition.

The exhibition, which opened on September 12, 2017, will conclude on September 16, 2017.

Also the stand had a special visitor in the name of Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment.

His Highness toured the pavilion with great interest and was very impressed with the idea behind the hyper-loop. So was the case with Dr Thani, both of whom were given a brief insight into the hyper-loop concept.

They wished ADIHEX in general and the HH pavilion in particular a great success.

The exhibition is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region in Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers Club and supported by the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festival Committee.

The five-day exhibition held annually is dedicated to equestrian and outdoor hunting activities in the region with over 600 international, national and local firms, engaged in equestrian activities, taking part in huge numbers.

The His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Festival is set up on an area of 4000 sq. meters.

Ms. Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, General Manager of Wathba Stallions, Chairperson of the Int’l Federation of Horse Racing Academies (IFHRA) and Chairperson of Ladies & Apprentice Racing Committees in the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR), said; ‘we are very pleased that rulers of emirates and members of the UAE cabinet are visiting our stand and showering praise on the role of pure-bred Arabian horses globally.’ She took personal interest and explained the concept behind the hyper-loop.

The festival also had an additional attraction with the release of the sixth edition of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival Year Book 2016. The 316-page glossy book is a compilation of Festival events, races, both flat and endurance, conferences, awards, seminars and allied activities, and is written by Muthyalu Satyanarayan who has over 30 years’ experience in newspapers journalism with many of these years being devoted to equine sports. He has penned all the editions of the year book. In his foreword to the book, His Highness Sheikh Mansoor stated that the book not only serves as a record that encapsulates all the Festival’s activities, but it is also a perfect too that the racing fraternity can use to promote Pure-bred Arabian racing. ADIHEX aims to present Abu Dhabi as the capital of the UAE’s cultural heritage by promoting sustainable hunting and conservation of the environment, highlighting the heritage and cultural traditions of the UAE, and narrating the history of the Emirati people to bring in more exhibitors and visitors year on year, according to the sponsors of the event.

One of the main attractions of the His Highness Festival tent, the raffle with prizes ranging from I-phones, I-Pads, I-watches, cash prize along with gold jewellery continued to attract visitors on the second day too.
