For the globalisation of the HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies World Championships, the different sponsors are a major contributor, but none more than Emirates Airlines, as explains Hayly Moore, British lady rider of Purebred Arabians and Thoroughbreds and representative of the Fegentri at the Adihex: “Many of the girls who compete in these races would not be able to afford to go to these great places like the Abu Dhabi, Oman or Dubai. Without Emirates it would be impossible. They are really great because they always look after us so well. They find us convenient flight times, they pick us up and drop us off. We have transport to the hotel and we love the airline. The best thing about it though is that they have a real good baggage allowance. We have to travel with saddles, boots, kit and other stuff that is really heavy and is not always easy to lug around. This is really important that we can bring everything. I am really grateful to be able to participate in the lady races of the festival, as I would otherwise never experience the hospitality of these countries.”
