Abu Dhabi – After having successfully staged the World Arabian Horse Racing Conference, as part of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival, the first edition of the HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak EARS (European Association Racing Schools) Conference on Education and Training was launched at the East Mangroves Hotel & SPA here on Friday, November 8. Abu Dhabi – Top international lady jockeys from around the globe launch their claims in the final leg of the HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship (IFAHR) as Abu Dhabi new season races get underway at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club here on Sunday evening (November 10, 2013). The opening event of the Abu Dhabi races in the new season features also the second edition of the HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak EARS Apprentice Jockey Race.

October 10, California ~ NC CASEY JONES ridden by Chris Russell make a steady run at the leaders and pulled away to win by 1 1/2 lengths in the second race at the California Big Fresno Fair Race Meet on October 5.

Akkar, a four-year-old trained by Eric Dell’Ova and ridden by Olivier Placais won the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s Wathba Stud Farm Cup race in Avenches in Switzerland on September 14.
The Wathba Stud farm Cup series is organized by the HH Sheikh Mansoor Festival to boost the Arabian racing at the grass roots level and a quality field of horses took part in the 1800-metre race which carried a prize fund of Euros 10,000.

The two races were part of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival with the ladies race creating history as the first-ever to be held in LA.

Dunidigt, August 27, 2013, The Daniel Klomp-trained Shrek OA won the fourth Wathba Stud Farm Cup race in the series being held in The Netherlands as part of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival.
Jockey Roy van Eck led Shrek OA to a fine win with Parmant under Miquel Lopez and Sadiq under Bart de Konnick finishing in that order.
Eight horses took part in the 2000-metre turf race held at the Duindigt race course in The Netherlands on Sunday, August 25.
This is Shrek OA’s second win in the Wathba Stud Farm Cup as the five-year-old had also won last year’s 8th race in the 10-race series held in 2012.

Mauro Manueddu rode another perfect race and it was repeat winning performance by Ameretto as the 7-year-old son of Amer won Sunday’s Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup (Group 3) Nagroda Europy and with it emerged as the European Triple Crown champion of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival at the Sluzewiec race course in Warsaw, Poland.
After Ameretto’s heroics, Australian lady jockey Danielle Walker held on to win the HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship IFAHR race over 1600-metres on Poranny Blask. Walker scored one of her biggest win when she staved off a late surge from Echo Ofira under French jockey Caroline Brunaud to score by a short head.

Ameretto last year’s winner here at the Sluzewiec race course has once again been in terrific form this year and will be the horse to beat in Sunday’s Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup (Group 3) Nagroda Europy, one of the two feature events of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival.
Bred by Dr. Paul-Jean Daverio, who heads the German Arabian Racing and owned by Manuela Schafenberg, the 7-year-old son of Amer is also in line to scoop the additional Euros 30,000 on offer.
The HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival have earmarked the Euros 30,000 bonus for the horse which wins the Festival’s European Triple Challenge which includes the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup races held in Duindigt, The Netherlands, Hoppegarten, Berlin in Germany and here in Sluzewiec in Warsaw.
